Timber Toys (Pty) Ltd was created from the concept that, I, in my capacity as a busy full time mother  of 3 beautiful children, could share with my fellow South Africans the amazing wooden toy treasures that I have sourced globally for my own children.    Whilst on secondment and living abroad with my family, I discovered the incredible world of “traditional wooden toys” for children.  I immediately became “obsessed” and “passionate” about wooden toys, as I always have, and still do, only want the very best for my own children.  What is important to me when selecting toys is the overall safety standards, the embedded quality of the toys and the educational value and playability of the toys.  I also love the idea that these wooden toys may well become family heirlooms over time and, as such, could be handed down to my children’s children in years to come.

I am delighted to be able to introduce South African children, to the wonderful world of wooden toys. All of our wooden toys are safety tested  to international standards.
